• They stopped working and you became worried. You loose your peace of mind because they are sitting idly.
• Once they have been given some task, and since they willingly agreed to fulfil it,then why this dilly-dally?
• They may have just popped out from the face of your computer table. You never knew them before and would have never cared, had they not been lying just before you like two useless swollen appendices. One on the left side of your body and one on the right.

Get ready.....

Today was the 5Th class since we started COP classes in Russian language. On the basis of their present performance, I can say thet we have got good and bright students.

Six students joined late and they are naturally lagging behind . They seem serious and we can hope that soon they will catch other students. We are revising again and again, which is definitely going to help the new students.

On Friday we are planning to not take up any new concepts but, to conduct an intensive revision class. Will let each and every student get involved. It is time to take an individual account of each student and have a collective idea of actual learning. Accordingly we can plan the next course of action.

Students has been asked to prepare, revise each and every thing that they have done in last 5 classes.

Let see how they are performing.

दुनियावी तकल्लफों से दूर....

कभी-कभी हमें न चाहते हुए भी कुछ काम दुसरों का दिल रखनें के लिए या फिर सामाजिक औपचारिकताओं को बस निभा देनें के लिए करना पड़ता है। उदाहरण के लिए मान लिजिए हम बड़ी तेजी में कहीं जा रहें हों, हो सकता है कि मू़ड भी खराब हो कि तभी अचानक कोइ जान-पहचान वाला मिल जाए। चेहरे पर बड़ी सी मुस्कान लिए आपकी ओर बढा चला आए। तो आप न चाहते हुए भी थोड़ा सा मुस्करायेंगे, दो मिनट के लिए रुक सकते हैं और फिर हंसते-हंसते विदा ले लेंगे। ऩाहक किसी पर अपनी तेजी या उलझन क्यों थोंपें - ऐसा आप मन ही मन सोचेंगे। उसकी परेशानी का ख्याल कर आप खुद थोड़ा कम्प्रोमाइज कर लेंगे।

ऐसा कभी आप करते हैं तो कभी आपके सामने वाला।

पर एक दूसरी तरह से भी हम व्यवहार करते हैं।

- मेरे काम में कोइ दखल न पड़नें पाए सामनें वाला जाए चुल्हे-भाड़ में। ऩहीं मानता मैं किसी सामाजिक औपचारिकता को, मैं तो इस औपचारिक समाज से ही तंग आ गया हुँ।

-बात आपकी भी ठीक है। इतनें तो जानने वाले, अगर मिलनें लगे तो सारा जीवन तो हाल-चाल पुछते ही निकल जाएगा।

वैसे भी काम दूसरे बड़े ज़रुरी करनें बाकी हैं सो जो छूट गया सो छूट गया जो साथ हैं उन्हें सम्भालना जरुरी है।

अब किस-किस का मन रखेंगे आप जब सारे अपने मन का ही करनें को आतुर हैं।

My first official classroom...

As a permanent faculty member of EFL-university, yesterday I had my first official class. 21 students have got admission for COP course. They are:

Age group varies from say 17 years to 50 years. There is a student of standard 12Th and there is another student, who is planning to seek retirement. For some it is just their hobby to learn foreign languages, for others the motivating factors are passion, dream, business, career, Russian revolution, Russia itself or Russian literature.

One thing, which is very important to not forget is that, this is their part time choice. They have their own full time engagements and learning Russian language is a part time activity for them. Classes are in the evening at 6.00 o'clock. This is the time, when they have already been busy for the whole day. Then it is quite natural that they must be tired. Exactly for this reason course structure must be designed in a way that the learning becomes interactive, much of fun and stress free.

I hope I will be able to perform well but, for that matter I must get the due support from the students.
